CALEA Assessors Request Public Comment About DOCJT

Assessors from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. will arrive Nov. 13 to begin a three-and-a-half-day examination of all aspects of the Department of Criminal Justice Training’s policies and procedures, management, operations and support services.

As part of the on-site assessment, academy employees, client agencies and members of the public are invited to offer comments by calling (859) 622-5049 on Wednesday, Nov. 15 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Comments will be taken by the assessment team and are limited to 10 minutes. Comments must address the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA’s standards.
