The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training will host a Defensive Driving Tactics course Aug. 7-11 at its Richmond Campus. The course is designed to enhance the officer’s knowledge and skill in both patrol and emergency vehicle operations. The course will include an overview of vehicle dynamics, stopping, backing, turning, skid control, patrol driving, emergency response, pursuit techniques and night or low-light driving.
